College Admission Requirements
    1. Evidence of graduation from an approved secondary school or completion of a GED with a minimum standard score of 45 for each test.

    2. Minimum high school course requirements:
      • English 4 years
      • Math 2 years (including 1 year of algebra, 1 year of geometry or 2 years of algebra)
      • Science 2 years of laboratory sciences
      • Social Studies 2 years
      • Electives to total 16 units.

    3. Official results of the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) of the College Board or the ACT Exam. St. Vincent's College's code number is 3789 for the SAT I and 0592 for the ACT.

    4. Applicants should be in the upper half of the high school class.

    5. A guidance counselor recommendation from current high school students, an Academic recommendation from current college students, or a professional recommendation from students not currently enrolled in college.

    6. Applicants who have been out of high school longer than 3 years must submit a personal resume.

Application Procedure
    Applicants are encouraged to apply early in the fall semester for enrollment in the following year. Since enrollment in some programs is limited, not all qualified candidates can be accepted.

    Applicants are responsible for submitting the following:

    1. Online application for admission, submit the nonrefundable application fee of $50 with a printed copy of the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application

    2. Official transcript of secondary school or official copy of GED

    3. Official college transcript(s), if applicable
Admission Procedure
    1. A health assessment that includes drug testing is required. The hepatitis vaccine series is required before all clinical and externship experiences or the appropriate declination form must be submitted to the Student Health Center.

    2. All matriculated students born after December 31, 1956, are required to submit evidence of immunization against rubella and measles. One dose of the measles vaccine must have been given after December 31, 1979.

    3. Notification of admission is made on a rolling basis. As soon as an applicant's credentials are complete, they are reviewed by the admissions committee and the applicant is informed of the decision via mail.

    To indicate acceptance of the offer of admission, the applicant must complete the appropriate acceptance form and submit a nonrefundable deposit of $150 within three weeks of being accepted. This deposit will be credited to the first semester charges.

Reapplication
    An applicant who has previously applied to St. Vincent's College and has been rejected or has voluntarily withdrawn at any stage of the admission process is required to submit another application and fee. Each applicant is considered individually and is required to submit the information requested by the admissions office.
Readmission
    Students who are dismissed or voluntarily withdraw from the college are required to resubmit an application and fee for readmission consideration. Readmission is not automatic. Each student is considered by the admissions committee prior to readmittance.
Residency Requirement
    All students must earn at least 75% of program requirements at St. Vincent's College. Students are required to complete all academic requirements within five years of enrollment.

How to Use the St. Vincents College Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
