UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Wesleyan provides students the best of both worlds: the resources of a top notch research university, while preserving the intellectual intimacy of a liberal arts college. Students are not encumbered by a core curriculum, and as a result learn to shape a well rounded education based on their interests. About 30% of undergraduates are members of minority groups, while 12% are the first in their families to attend college. Finally, Wesleyan is committed to meeting the full demonstrated financial need of all students.
